Really liking the overall look of your jetpack so far! The parts for the thrusters are all so simple, but when they are all together how you have them they really look good.

Mine are made from cardboard coated with fiberglass and bondo.

I must finish it before to paint^^ Yes i'll make holes for strap too.
So I use Siphon of kitchen sink, fanta's bottle, some pipe for areration and air conditioning, the vacuum cleaner, and pvc.
I'll use a chrismas festoon to put light in my jetpack. The continuation in the week ^^

The body of the Jet pack is finished but further to an accident I have a part from the pipe which makes an half circle which broke. I restuck and that makes of a not deliberate battle damaged...

I didn't have pvc. I use all with my sith armor so I bought a kit on ebay with all the parts because it's not easy to find pvc if we don't leave in Paris... I just made painting job.

I made myself the buckle with pvc

I made the same mistake w/ the gauntlets. I ordered an O Klooking pair from evolution props, and almost 2 months later, I got these 2 $90 pieces of junk!! they're made of ABS plastic, lousily reinforced w/ fiberglass, and held together with hot melt glue, am i right?

Yes you are right. he send me two pairs, the first was more horrible. The second was better but not great. A lot of work to do something with this gauntlets. I couldn't closed the left gauntlet.

Yeah, yopu have to be careful with E-bay purchases, some people are ok, but there are a lot of hack merchants about.

However, there is the other end of the scale, I paid good money for some guy to send me his and I still haven't seen them, despite an email saying they were just about to post them, now he's gone missing, which means I'll probably have to construct a pair before I can go troop!

I had the same problem with the left gauntlet. I refuse to buy anything from Evolution props ever again.
I'm scrapping the bottom half of the left gaunt, and making my own to fit the top half.

His others products are good but not the gauntlets...

This week end I worked on my flack vest. I must finish it but it's on good way.

I wouldn't worry, it's just the flash reflecting on the protective coating.

Hi guys,
It is not easy or nice see that one of our products are not well received due to imperfections. Far beyond this, it is good to realize what our weaknesses are. I've been working on the gauntlets and it is true, we had problems with some customers with the left gauntlet and some lousy details, though we have been in contact with each one of them to offer a good solution. Currently, we are working in improving the model we use to overcome these imperfections and hopefully they have a better reception among the TDH world. Thank you for your comments.
By the end of next week we will be listing the new one!

Like I said I don't like make bad publicity. Your other props are realy nice but Gauntlets was really a problem.
