Bo-Katan Helmet - Pepakura

Hello everyone! I would like to show you that I'm working on right now. I'm from Venezuela and I specialize in creating Pepakura models. perhaps some of you have already seen my work in the clonetrooper.net forum.

Some people have asked me for this helmet, so I decided to do it. and what better place than this to receive your comments or criticisms about this helmet.

Thanks, But what do you mean it's not perfect? there's something wrong? I used the same scales from the animated helmet.

the helmet have a 90% or 95% of accuracy. maybe I have to make a few changes on rangefinder.

Muy Bien! Very cool. Wish I knew more about pepkura. My friend who I am in the 501st with has talked about trying to a pepakura project.

Pepakura is a easy technique. you only need practice and a lot patience.

why no Backvent?

those little details is better to do it once you have the helmet hardened.

My only criticism is not making the bottom rim of the helmet a perfect oval. Make the bottom a little more egg shaped or even angular. It will make a HUGE difference when its in your hands. The oval bottom makes helmets wonky. Very nice file though.

here is the bottom rim, as you can see is not a perfect circle. the red line mark the front of the helmet.

HD1138- AMAZING!

The only thing you need to clean up... on the browline, over the vertical bar of the visor, between the earcaps... the brow should not be a raised brow like Fett. The brow meets the dome and there is a slight ridge where the angle changes but, it is flush. The raised portions starts at the back of the earcaps and goes around the back. I hope that made sense?

If you look at my finished thread and Cruzers thread you can see what I mean. Look VERY closely at the stills and you can somewhat see it but, it's hard to ID but, it's there. I have some images that show it clearly but, I cannot share them as a promise to the source.

you mean this detail? if is so, I wasn't aware of it until now. but I need a more clear reference to make sure to have the right shape on my model.

like WOF Boba Fett helmet templates? I think is not necessary, the bottom of the helmet have two rim that reinforces the shape of the helmet.
