is it better to have matt paint or gloss paint when doint the colour schemes on mando armour? i want it to look impresive, but i dont want to look too shiny, even after weathering.

any advice would be apreciated.

In the end, you'll want to have a more satin or matte finish -- unless you're going for that straight from the Mando showroom look. :)

But even if you use gloss paints, you can dull them down afterwards with 000 steel wool and/or Testor's Dullcoat. So, I'd say get the colors you want without much regard to finish and then weather and dull down as needed.
