Armour idea

Hunter
Hi guys!

I'm running around like a blue-arsed fly right now, but I managed to spend 5 minutes to have a think about my armour.

I was never going to make my own, but I saw a flight suit really cheap and bought it on a whim.

I know I have to get my helmets sorted first, but here is one of my ideas for a unique Mando.

It's based on the heavy pulse cannon from Aliens, so the back back has an arm mount to support the weight of the cannon.

I've tried to get a bronzed colour as I intend to cold cast in bronze.

Let me know what you think, any ideas etc :)

Thanks for the advice, I've had an idea with the cold casting, I won't go too deeply into it yet, but I think I have a novel way of doing it :)

It will take a little practice though :)

Just gotta sort out a refuse bucket for Adonian and get the basic bucket sorted and I will get onto this little project.

Or I might not do it and face the consequences above ;)

I was more thinking of letting it tarnish, it's kinda like self weathering, just give it a once over with brasso and it will clean off nicely, leaving the oxidised metal in the gaps.

Though I'll be using brass rather than bronze, have the powder ready. What I was going to try is to paint resin mix onto trashcan armour and see if it holds on it once sanded back.

But thanks for the link, will help me greatly with my helmet experiments :)

It reminds me of a custom action figure I made... This particular Mando is Seb Taanis, the Mentor of my custom Mando, Odran Kor... I based his design in the colors of Scorpion from Mortal Kombat... Nice idea... HEHE

I really like the idea you have going on here. I've been wanting to see a mando with a pack mounted cannon.
