    ARC Pistols

Here's the newest addition to my armory. I just got these beautiful ARC Trooper Pistols in today. I made the master mold myself and then sent it off to Stomper who did a wonderful job in molding it and cast these up in some super durable rubber; comparable to the stuff used in hyperfirm guns. I've only got one picture of mine, but there are also some pics taken of the master prior to being molded

thanks for the kind words, guys. I spent a lot of time with screenshots to try and take the undetailed cartoon drawing and make something that looked realistic while still staying as true as possible to the gun seen in the toon

Very nice work. But could some lights be added above the trigger to look more like the 4th screenshot?

I think with some skill you could make that mod on the resin ones. I've seen people do much the same thing to a resin RC pistol so I don't see why it wouldn't work. I have always wanted to see someone make that mod so definitely go for it

You know, I never noticed it before but these look like they were based on the design of the Desert Eagle...

these guns do look sweet but there's no way their related to the desert eagle. desert eagle is big, bulky, and you need to hands to use it. these babies are one handed averaged sized killing machines that just beg to be duel wielded.

    Re: ARC Pistols

I agree that it's almost a necessity to duel wield them, but they are actually fairly large: 14 1/8 inches long. They've gotta be big enough to look proportional to someone in armor

Thanks, everybody, for the praise and encouragement. It really is nice to hear that I succeeded in pulling these off pretty well. I don't have anything to do with production so I'm not totally sure, but I think that Stomper is still taking orders if you want a set or just 1 pistol.

Liquid plastic (sort of) It is a 2 part liquid mix used in many applications, most of us here use it to make buckets with 'Resin' and fiberglass. (look at my avatar, it's Resin, glass and bondo)

Simplest explination I could think of

    Re: ARC Pistols

I'm wondering if the Fett chest lights would look o.k. on the resin gun. It would save time compared to coming up with something brand new.

    Just a thought.

Excellent job on the blasters, you both did a great job.

I made a Leia DCC-Defender blaster out of a toy and spare parts, I'm hoping to get it created in rubber and/or resin. My local group, The Adirondack Outpost, has some talented folks who have done a bit of molding for home projects, so hopefully I can get this done sometime soon. I have since repainted it flat black which makes it look much better. It's not 100 % accurate, but it's nice for trooping.
