Anyone do any Mando/Clone hybrids?

Just curious, once I saw a pic of someone at a con in a suit of armor that was somewhere between a Clone and a Mandalorian and I was wondering if anyone here had done anything similar or if you had pictures of anything like that.

Is this sort of what you saw? Its Captain Fordo. There was a guy selling one on eBay some time ago.

That's an ARC Trooper, not a hybrid. ARCs were personally trained by Jango, before he died, as a type of Navy Seal. You see 'em in the Clone Wars cartoon series and comics.

EDIT: That's a pic is of a custom ARC trooper armor from somebody in the 501st. ARCS wore the duster, usually carried 2 blasters, and custom accesories. The ARCs were allowed to customize there armor depecding on the mission they were oging on, but it usually stayed with what Fordo has, but with different colors to denote rank.

EDIT 2: http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/ARC

Thats why I didn't automatically think it was an ARC, because of the jet pack... But also I posted the pics just to illustrate what I was talking about... a costume that blends the two together.... kinda like a clone who decides to "be" Mandalorian.

The clone would just get mandalorian armor then, one of the clones became mandalore and wore the same armor as boba, ditching his clone armor. It's mostly becuse mandalorian armor is stronger, and because he was insane.

If you read somone stuff on Mando armor, its isn't always made of Mandalorian Iron (the sandard stuff). It's either that or the next best thing. The fact is, Mando Iron is expensive to make/get, which adds to why Mando armor is so well prized.

It's still possible that a Clone decided to make a new set of armor based on the clone armor since he's used to it so much, and decided to mix the best traits of both. He could have possibly even scavanged some parts from his original armor. Who knows, maybe he set a theme, and the new Mandos led by Boba start to use their own version of it (y)

Speaking of which, does anyone know where a set of clone armor profiles are? Front, side, back, top, ect... Not movie stills or anything like that, I mean straight on like this: but with clone armor and not a toy...

Thats sort of the scenario I was thinking about-- And isn't Boba Fett's Armor made of Duraplast and not Mandalorian Iron?

I think that should I get my custom done sometime this century, I may venture into either an ARC Trooper like Ordo (I believe Fordo was a typo-which I notice as I make so many myself) or I may like doing a Republic Commando now that I've been seeing some sets of RC armor for sale recently on Ebay.

It's a mix. His armor is scavanged from Jango's and Jaster's plus his own customization. Jango still had Jaster's armor which is why Boba had it.

I'm looking into customizing my version 2.0 armor to look more like clone armor. It's not going to BE clone armor...but instead look like mando armor themed after clone armor.

Still have to finish version 1.0 though...

dude my custom mando ... well back story is one of the clone trainers (yep more then 2 mandos trained them!) and i have decided on a DC-15, clone knee pads (cause the fett don;t look to fun), i think i may even do clone greeves. my paint scheme will involve the Jade eyes, and some other clone things (such as the republic insignea instead of mando on my sholder pauldrens)
