Another First for Jax and Shado

nah, they are duct taped on there. still have to make straps, etc.

padding will be in there as well.

i was thinking a strap with a small buckle or elastic strapping. what do you reccomend to keep them from moving around?

a "Y" system at the sides? or just a str8 strap across the back.

Thomas does his using 1"black nylon wed belt with a clip. No velcro nothing. I actually have 1.5" tan elastic band around the back of my knee's, the Chicago screws that attach the strap to the knee's are also riveted to the pants and I have some velcro on the front of the knee too.

yeah, i'm headed to work now. i need to remove everything from my pants for repairs anyway. i'll break it down, take some pix and get them up tomorrow.

Alrighty, here are the pix I promised on how I have my knee's hooked up to my pants...

After the knee's were complete and the holes drilled, I put them over where they would ride on the costume and used a marker to mark through the holes in the plates, onto the pants, where the holes for the bolts needed to go. Then I used scissors to cut a small hole for the bolt. I used a rubber washer on the inside of the bolts to prevent tearing on the fabric and to keep the bolt from possibly slipping through.

Hope that helps!
