I'm gonna print me out another bucket so I can start on the white bucket, I hope I can make it more custom.

I used to have a coffee cup that said 'your only young once, but you can be immature forever' XLNT words to live by.

I know a place that I should be able to get a job, but it's like 25 miles away. If I don't have any inteviews by Friday, I guess I gotta go 4 it.

Back to the armor, yeah, I thought the hardware was gonna be the hardest, but software is the hard part. Gotta pay someone else to do some of the work (vest) but then it feels like ya know I didn't do it myself, sheesh, oh well, maybe I'll go to wal*mart and get some fabric to do a vest, my sister-in-law has a sewing machine, maybe she'll show me how to do it.

Hehe I'm also obsessed with doing it myself. Follow the patterns and you should be okay. And make sure you practice if you've never used a sewing machine. Generally a good thing to do. Good luck to you!

Thank's A'den, I think I'm good for standard Mando beskar'gam, I think when I finish mine and the kids, I definately want to make a more custom one, like this: (I found this pic, who ever made it, please don't get mad, I think its awesome) Actually I posted this pic some where else here, and it is from KOTOR MMO, but still dont wanna get anyone mad for me posting it.

Ordeyn, I think I may get a 3xl tee shirt and cut it apart and use it as a pattern for some white pleather or something.

I see that Cod'ika used black quilted batting or something for his vest, and it looks really cool (proly not so hot as pleather)

lol ill post some pics of just the vest, the vest itself doesnt get to hot,its everything else lmao, the fabric is light weight so thats a plus, the velcro is sewed onto it and it holds the plates really nice but if you ever go metal (like i plan) it probably be best to invest something else.

glad to hear that your narrowing in on your target, and that your armor is coming along, its looking really sweet! keep it up!!!

    I think that's a KOTOR concept drawing...I think...

Pleather is deathly hot!!! Find anything that works and is cooler...I was at Cactus Con in my beskar'gam, in January, and it was hot...

Re: 2nd set of trash can armor

changed it a little. I think I can do it by making the start of a normal bucket, but instead of finishing the back, leave it open and make a wrap around, just gotta make the start of the bucket first. I hope it looks good in real life.

It's gonna have a wide flair around the bottom, and I hope to have 'fangs' for the mandables.

well I guess my curves would be kicking too

and yeah I am kind of fat, thats what the girth belts, ammo belts etc are for

Yeah, my tax return is due in monday, so I can buy my girth belts and fabric for the vests, and I can get some BDU's, I can finaly kick it into overdrive.

As for tomorrow, whole day will be (job) bounty huntin' while the old man watches the twin terror boys of mine.
