Never been, you GGG guys invited me last year though. How big of a Con is it??
Have not been myself. The guys who run it told me it was pretty big. Pennywise says it is a great event. Can anyone shed some light on this?
I'll probably go to wondercon this year. Only a 3.5 hr drive.
I have familiy in Palo Alto so I might go. it's only a 50 minute drive into the city. like BF said, if anyone has attended before please share what we can expect.

According to the Wonder con website, these are the expected special guest so far Sergio Aragonés, Kurt Busiek, Becky Cloonan, Darwyn Cooke, Mark Evanier, Steve Leialoha, Tim Sale, J. Michael Straczynski, Bruce Timm, Bill Willingham, and more.
I'll be there. I'll be in my TB and then debuting the TEC/TimeCop costume.
If you have ever been to ComicCon in San Diego, then WonderCon is about maybe 1/2 to 1/3 the size. It's smaller sure, but it's still a lot of fun!Originally Posted by GCNgamer128
I'm now trying to get my friend to go and pitch in on a hotel. I didn't want to have to drive all the way up from San Diego (8 hrs) by myself, stay in a hotel room and attempt to suit up without help so I'm hoping he doesn't back out on me now.

just booked my room too at the Marriot for 4 days. I'll be traveling solo as my wife is burned out from holiday travel. this is my 1st Con with my completed ESB Fett and I'm a little worried about suiting up as some armor is next to impossible to attach by myself. if anyone needs help and/or could help me out, please let me know.

I will be there friday or saturday. Don't know yet if I will be in costume.

Oh cool, didnt know that was coming up. I will be going to that Video games live 2008 deal friday night. I will be there for this one. Birthday weekend too
