Strange loading issues

For a few months now, I have noticed a bit of a lag issue with loading, especially when a thread has pictures in it. It pretty much freezes for...near a minute and you can't scroll through the thread while it loads obviously. I figured it was maybe a computer issue, but it is happening on multiple computers.

What OS and browser are you using? I have not had any problems with Windows XP or Linux.

and i've not had any problems with os x using firefox or safari.

I have noticed it too, since an upgrade I believe. Yep, anything with pictures. It actually doesn't seem to do it at home though. Both machines have XP and IE7. The only difference I know of is work=cable internet, home=dial up. I seem to have the problem at my parents and my inlaws house as well. They too are both cable internet. My parents computer has Vista. I haven't taken my laptop over and tried yet on the wirless network.

Home and work comp OS are Windows Xp, and both have IE6. I have used Firefox on my home comp as well and have the same issues.

i'm getting that problem too. my computer uses xp with cable.

Doh! I forgot to add that, it is Cable modem on home one...and...whatever they use at work, the high powered T-somethings.

I had the same problem when I used IE 7. I switched to Firefox and that did the trick.
