Well-Known Hunter
UPDATE.

Today my wife went in for a colonoscopy (I wanted her to get her medical things done before we got a divorce and she lost her insurance).

They found a ring mass and she is currently being prepped for emergency surgery to remove the bottom section of her colon.

The prognosis is not good. Its actually very bad. We have some very difficult things to decide as a family.

I have 5 of the 7 orders shipped (ee3's) the last two are combo kits (and a single sidearm/combo where only the sidearm has been paid for). I may ship the ee3's out and hold the 2 sidearms until I can fix the molds and get themd one properly, or refund the money.

I WILL get these guns out, but its going to be 5 days before I evern get home to look at them, possibly 7.

Im likely going to be selling some of my original items/molds/pulls/precious items to pay for this. We have insurance, but the difference is going to be crushing. Ill be contacting some of the prop makers on the site offering the things to them first so that they can remain available to members.

I need to sell 3 HIC casts, so if you were thinking about buying one, consider it the best opportunity in the world to get one now.

Please do not pm me with condolences, I am not looking for anything like that. I am just a very transparent person and thought the people I owe items to should know.

I do not believe I have it in me to divorce someone going through this so I do not know what will happen there.

I wish everyone a better day than mine.

Fellow TDH'ers.

I am typically a very private person, but I do not want anyone to think that I am neglecting them.

In the last week my wife of 10 years and I have decided to get a divorce. She has three children that I raised as my own so needless to say this is a trying time.

This update is to give a notice of what I will be and not be doing in the next month or two.

I have:
2 Full size black HICS - 425 each.
1 partial / silver HIC - 300 (wall display)

After these are gone, im going to have to move studios. Needless to say it may take a little time.

I will be doing approximately 10 ESB EE3 webley kits (I need to get the stocks first) and then taking a hiatus from them for 3 months <>.
I am almost finished building a rotj webley and considering creating rubber/light/foam casts of it. Similar to Hotshots, but very very acurate, and much cleaner and less 'wobly'.

This is the only project I am doing at the moment.

I have a tun of misc parts I have offered up to give away to people to 'fix' or 'build' their own webley kits. If someone (trustworthy) would volunteer to help me get those parts out to people, I will send the entire lot to them. This would help me greatly.

My connunication will be spotty. So I apologize in advance.

I will post a sale thread for the stuff thats on hand as its on hand.

I owe two people parts from their webley kits that didnt ship. I will get them out this week.

Thanks for being patient.

I'm sorry to hear what you are going through Stormrider. My brother and his children have been going through a similar situation.

I might be able to help you out with the shipping situation.

Sorry to hear that's whats been going on SR, as someone who split from his wife after 7 years recently, I can completely understand. Take your time and get things sorted out...everyone should understand what will be priority for now.

THanks all.

The shipping thing is I have a tun of over run, good, bad, workable etc parts for my gun kits. People were looking for parts. I want to just give them away but cant handle the task of getting them packed to ship etc. I have told people to expect to pay for the shipping, but in envelopes tis only a few $ each.

Any help from someone thats looking for parts themselves would be appreciated. Ill reimburse them down the line with something from one of my future projects.

Thanks again

As the newest member of the forum I was saddened to see that you will be experience such a tough time. This year I signed my divorce papers on my tenth anniversary. It has been a very tough year and can only liken the experience to a "wooden roller coaster". I wish you the best and wanted to let you know of my interest in purchasing one of your Han Solo carbonite molds as to craft my own as many have done on this site. I am having a tough time discerning the difference between the offering. Let me know what is available and the cost and I will gladly work a deal. Thanks in advance.

Fett fanatic - thanks ill box stuff up and get with u shortly.

zera, the partial pieces are just the han details (around his body, and his feet) the full front is the carbonite texture too. Lot more rubber. almost twice.

I am getting to the basement now, so the pulls are going to start coming off this week. I have enough for about 3-4 i think. One partial coming first, then 2-3 full fronts. none are spoken for, first to pm me for payment details and send payments gets them. Need to clear basement to move stuff.

Thanks for all the kind words, means a lot to me.

Sorry to hear of your plight , I also know what you are going through . I was with my first wife for 20 yrs married for 12 when we divorced and it was hard at first but things do get easier with time . My only advice is deal with things in your own way and if you have family use them in your harder times . As i said things do get better , I'm married again and been with Kym for 7 yrs now (married for 5) and she is 10yrs my junior ! Anyway Good luck and keep strong matey

I registered here at 'thedentedhelmet' specifically to inquire as to whether or not you still have the "partial / silver HIC" available. I would be interested in purchasing it. I'm not sure what the standard procedure for purchases from you would be, but I'm interested.

Thanks in advance for any assistance/response,
