that was really awesome. I love the ending, reminded me of myself. I'm betting you got that quote at the final duel scene from the comic issue that had just such a meeting.

Are you in the same category as the other Maul film "The Contract of Evil?" IF you are, that doesn't seem very fair. His film is about as perfect as you could make a fan film, But you could tell he had some serious skill, money, and resources backing him. I loved the ending on your as well, but you should have foreshadowed that possibility. It would have made that duel more believable. I kept thinking to myself while scratching my head instead of really getting into watching it, How the heck could they meet? Maybe if you started with the boy opening his toys then dream sequence it... then the fight...then dream sequence back to the boy like you did...but then again I pick apart every movie i have ever seen!!lol Very good job by the way! your Maul costume is awesome!! Just think If that god awful film "Christmas Taun Tauns" could win, anyone could!!

actually I rather like that he didn't allude to the truth of it, gave the whole thing a cool spin. In the beginning he did allude to how it could have happened, remember Vader saying " you are not the real one. you are a clone. a good copy." The contract of evil while pretty good, did come off a little power rangerish with the other two zabrak talking but not really mouthing the words too well, which I can understand with the teeth and all, but the dialogue didn't help it feel any less like a power ranger villain dialogue. I also like how maulfett didn't try to make up the whole two sabers deal and instead kept it clean and canon.

That is the point, surprise the whatcher with the end of the movie.
A lot of people and fans like the end, and the fight it is not too bad for a person 6'6" tall with a armor, With darth vader suit it is not easy to fight trust me i know, and this is a fan movie made by a couples fan, the other fanflims the have a company help them to make their movies, Like RvD2 i bought that dvd and the movie is 5 minutes long and the credits is 4 minutes long the have over 300 employess.
But i'm in there, this is my first movie as a fan and i believe i did a great job.
Thanks for the support like always.

Lucas does not judges films by the perfection they have nor how much you spend on special effects, he likes best those films he knows are made by fans with not a lot of budget to work with, I am not making this up, this came out of an interview to Lucas.

This video is good, cool and has a nice lines too. Like when Vader answers what he hates the most, It cannot get deeper than this.

    You have my vote too.
