Nov 14, 2008, 8:07 AM - FOR SALE THREADS OUTSIDE THE CARGO HOLD #1

We have noticed, since the implementation of the new membership policy, that some members have circumvented the system by posting items for sale in other parts of the board because they no longer have access to the Cargo Hold. Please note that we will delete any for sale thread outside the Cargo Hold without contacting the thread starter.

Our rules are not arbitrary and are not here to annoy you. The rules are here for because we feel they are in the best interests of the majority of our membership. Abide by them.

There seems to be some confusion as I have received several PMs already. Please note, this is not a change in our rules and this does NOT affect runs/interest threads.

Per the The Cargo Hold Terms and Guidelines:

    Runs and Interest Threads
If you plan to produce a limited run of an item and also plan to post an interest thread and/or sign-up list, do not post them in The Cargo Hold. Instead, post the interest thread/sign up list thread in the forum that is most closely related to the item that is for sale (example: post your interest thread for a run of rocket pack thrusters in the Rocket Pack forum). The Cargo Hold is intended for items that are available for immediate sale or trade, not future projects in which the item has yet to be created or completed.

If you are offering runs in any of our forums this thread does not apply to you.
