New Hunter
Hey everyone, I wanted to introduce myself to the forums, and say that I am completely blown away by all these projects and the level of detail you apply.

I have been a Star Wars fan since the movies were re-released in the 90s. Since I'm 19 ( Almost 20 ), I never had the chance to see the original releases. My dad took me to see "A New Hope" when I was little and I was hooked! He wasn't that big of a Star Wars fan at all, he just wanted me to see a movie I "may" like. AND I DID! I made him take me to see "The Empire Strikes Back" (My personal Favorite) and then "Return of the Jedi". Of course Boba Fett became my favorite character.

Well, when I got a bit older I wanted a Boba Helmet. I looked all over the web to buy one, and came close a few times. Yet, the options then were limited and I wasn't satisfied with any of them. So my plans were put on hold.

Recently I stumbled upon a page about how to make a Boba helmet which led me here and I am going crazy and can't wait to make it!

I havn't started yet, but am working on getting materials for the project and plan to keep the forums posted. Also I have an itch to create a personal character I developed while Roleplaying on another site. Here is a picture:

Please comment on my idea for Kaxan Mandus ( Character's name )!

Anyways, I hope to get started on my Boba soon, and I may even turn him into a lifesize model... if I'm lucky!

BTW: As soon as the forums let me I will post some schematics of the armor and helm for Kaxan that I have been working on in the appropriate section.

"Welcome, Wilkommen, Bienvenue, Come on in!" ( ask someone over 35 where that came from )

There is a section here solely dedicated to Fett variations, so I'm sure you'll get plenty of responses and encouragement...

Again, welcome to the nuthouse, leave your wallet at the door...

Welcome to TDH? Where you from?
Like the Mando design and name, any background to this character?
What colour designs you thinking of going for?

You signed up to a great forum place for all things mando here. Sure you get ya Boba done in no time.

Well I have started a fan fiction all about him and his adventures in and out of the Mandalorian Clan, as well as his search to find his real father. Here is a sample in synopsis form.
I don't know if it's any good but here goes.

Kaxan Mandas was born during the Second Galactic Civil War (40 ABY). His mother died shortly after giving birth to Kaxan and his twin brother Xalk. They were raised with the Mandalorians whilst his father was fighting, but once they were one year old, the fighting had stopped, and their father had not returned.

As customary, the boys were adopted, but into seperate families. Kaxan was then raised shortly by Mirta Gev, who had just ended a her brief marriage at the start of the war. She kept him for some time until she left in search of her grandfather, at which time, Kaxan, now almost 2, was turned over to another Mandalorian family.

...Skip 16 1/2 years...

K
axan, now 19 years old, lived by himself on Corellia. He worked as a security officer for the Galactic Alliance Embassy, but found himself bored with duties on the ground and as soon as he had enough money, he bought himself a ship and became a freelance bounty hunter...

I am working on a series of stories for this character as well as a few other I have created, and am trying to stick as close to Canon Star Wars lore as possible.

What do you guys think? and is there anywhere on the site for fan fiction? I was thinking of just posting it on TheForce.net

Comments please.

Oh and his armor will be green, Black and silver.. unless I decide to change it... :p
