Active Hunter
Folks,
I may not be active for a few days, three of my fellow officers were killed this morning about one hour ago responding to a domestic dispute.

I've been active here somewhat as of late and purchased some things from folks which I'm all paid up for but if you need me for anything please email me at pghfett@msn.com

Thanks,

Mike in Pittsburgh

Oh Mike,
I don't know you, but I appreciate you!!! I am fully aware that you, and all of your
fellow officers, put it ALL on the line everyday.

THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!

I am so very sorry for your loss. Please do not completely leave the forums.
It can really help to chat about this. I am sure you know this, but you need to vent. There are many many other officers, and service people, put their lives out there everyday as well. They will be here for you.

This forum is not just a place to make costumes, but it is a family and we are all here to help you.

We will be praying for you and your family ( my God they must be so very terrified) and your friends, and other officers.

Thank you again and PLEASE BE CAREFUL!!!!!

i have family members that are law enforcement officers and my heart goes out to the families of the officers that are killed in the line of duty.

to all officers, try and stay safe out there.

One of things I discovered about this board was that there were many of my law enforcement brothers and sisters here, their support (although sometimes hundreds, even thousands of miles away, and usually in the form of a faceless, nameless post) is something that helps in times like these.

It has been a rough few years for law enforcement, and the last few weeks particularly so.

I have seen a few posts where members, some subtly and some bluntly, criticize the police. (The most recent was the quintessential, "I hate the cops"? Why? "Because I got a DUI man".) Really no need to make my point with that statement. Thankfully the members of TDH are among the most sincere hearted people of many of the boards I have visited.

Please take the time to recognize the sacrifice that has to be made by all law enforcement. Realize the society you live in is plagued with villains with the inability to distinguish right from wrong.

pghfett, you, your department, and the families of those lost are in our thoughts and prayers.

Hey bro,

We're all saddened for the loss of the officers. God bless you all and please take care out there. Thanks for your service and all you do.

I'm with you bro. Our Department went through this in 2004, and having just attended the Oakland funeral last week, it's fresh in my mind.

Thoughts and prayers with you, the families, and your department.

When I read this thread at first. I thought it was a Flash Back from the terrible tragedy of what had happend to the Oakland officers as well. As a fellow Officer myself it saddens me of what's going in our country.:(

My thought and parayers go out to you, the family and friends and officers of your department as well. Helmets off to all....

Dude there is no reason to apologize..if not for all the great work and unfortunately sacrifice that law enforcement and the military does the whole world would be down the crapper...my heart goes out to all the Boys and Girls in Blue at this time of sorrow...

Again, from one to another, my thoughts are with you. I am truly sorry to hear of your loss. Indeed, times have become more and more violent in the past few years. It is very difficult to finds the right words to say at a time like this. Take care of yourself, and stay safe brother.

You and your fallen are in our prayers. My brother is a policeman and I did a few stints in the army. We appreciate our brothers in blue in this household and it's always a sad day when we loose any of our brothers and sisters for whatever reason and wherever they are.

Me and my wife were watching this on the news. Words can't describe how horrible this is. Our thoughts go out to the families and the coworkers who are involved.

mike, there is no need to apologize. i'm not in any sort of law enforcement, but my job does occasionally have me interacting with officers, and i am grateful for them. it's a tragedy, and i hope it doesn't take you away from these boards for too long, but be sure to take all the time you need.
