Does any one know if we are going to have a table at the mid-Ohio comic con
If there are a couple of TDH members that are willing to run a table, then we are happy to send out our smaller banners, some business cards and some stickers. Please contact me if so.
When and Where is this? I may possibly be able to go depending on the date.
im not sure where it is but i know that it is 24 and 25 of November i believe
Well, I'm working.....I'm ALWAYS working, LOL
But, I'm about 3/4 mile away from the Convention Center, so if you guys do a TDH table, I can loan you a Segway to drum-up some extra attention
This convention is located in Columbus, Ohio. It is now held in the Columbus Convention Center, prior to last year it was in the Easton Town Center on the outskirts of Columbus.
I think i might go, is this one of those events were we can wear our fetts?
I considered going to this... but just too close to the hoildays to fit it in.
Kim and I will be there with Ruffkintoy, but we'll all be wearing our Predator costumes, not Star Wars. AVP2 comes out next month!

November is turning out to be quite busy!
This is a great event. A smaller con but always a great turn out for our Garrison. So far we're over 30 in attendance. Not bad for Thanksgiving weekend.
EH_Brandl - Come on out and meet some of the Ohio Garrison folks. We love meeting new people and seeing their costumes. My Fett wont be done in time but I'll have my shocktrooper and Vader there.
If I don't have to be at the funeral home or a baby shower I will probably show up at least one day. My wife said she might even want to go since it may be the last time she gets to go anywhere before the baby is born.
This was a great event. We had a few Mandos around and Jim's excellent ROTJ Boba. My ESB isnt done but I got to hang out with Ruffkin for a while and hope to have it finished by end of January. My other costumes are shocktrooper and Vader. We had 3 other Vaders in attendance so I wanted something different to wear. My brother couldnt make it so he allowed me to wear his Emperor. I wanted to show off as I doubt I am giving it back to him now! I loved it!

Uh, yup. He was in one of the Predator costumes.
There were 3 Mandalorian Mercs there, which were probably the mandos you saw =) There were some awesome pred photos they took, even a female I believe.
Yeah i enjoyed myself there and of course i just worn one of my TDH shirts but hey its was awesome to see other people in costume

It sounds like everyone had a pretty good time. I wish I could have made it. Things just didn't work out again.

Yep, Ruffkin was one of the Predators. Cutest Sandgirl and I were also Predators with him. I talked to one Ohio Boba Fett, not sure which one, while I was in my blue-skinned Predator costume over by the 501st table and told him that 3 of the 5 Predators there were Dented Helmet members, also.
That was me. Really impressed by the Preds, they looked awesome. Thanks for making the trip. You can troop with us anytime.

The mid-ohio con this year 2008 is in October - 25 and 26 I think. IT's in Columbus - at the convention center. (at least it was last year) It is a good show. I had a table set up for the release of our comic book (shattered Glass Comics). I got a great shot of someone in a fett suit with Zena who was with us. Great show and I'm going to be there with our table AND my new Fett Costume.

Yeah, 25 and 26. (wasn't looking at a calander) I got an email from them about a month ago announcing when it was. Like a dope, I deleted it.
Roger Price, the owner of the production company that runs the con, has retired and is selling it off. No one, as of yet, has bought it. I spoke with my contact about 2 weeks ago on what the outlook was for the con this year and he said it didnt look good. I havent heard those dates from him yet but can check again.
I really would like it to still happen.
Appears we are talking about two different cons. MidOhio is different then OhioComicCon.
