i just would like to share the private messaging that has gone on between this seller and me for a Taco Belt i bought a few weeks ago...you be the judge... this needs to be brought to everyones attention...

Lol.... Well I know Fettdad came to me about a belt before he bought the one from erock. But went on that one since he could get a little better deal...(who wouldn't?) As for my car..no I never saw that car ever again. Its still missing...probably been recylced into a bunch of Big Red Soda Cans by now....(oh and for those of you who don't know Big Red is a kick@ss drink here in Texas) you all should get one...and some Whataburgers!! for reals!!! Anyhow... I'm hoping next year is a turnaround for me. I don't think it can get anyworse.....then again theres still 2 1/2 more months to go. I don't think I'll be playing with fireworks this new years.....yes....I think I will pass...

But still, this kind of good act makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside, wish we all could help each other like that.

You know what's funny, erock8100 wanted me to dye and weather his jumpsuit a while back, he said that he was in "Absolutely no hurry" to get it back. The next day I get home and it's at my door, turns out that he OVER-NIGHTED the jumpsuit to me. Kind of strange how he'll do that for a prop of his own, but won't put this kind of consideration into other people's property.

so tell me, if erock doesnt reply by the stated date, then they usually favor on the claimers side, yes? arent the accounts insured up to 2 grand or something like that? once that refund does come in, it goes right back into the TACO account....

very noble as well, hammer...but honestly, with this situation i have been in with this guy, i cant even believe it was bobamaker armor he was selling...so really, who's to say that your shoulder armor isnt better than what Taco wouldve received...i honestly believe that erock was just trying to use the trust aspect of this family to take advantage of people...i am very fortunate, thanks to Taco, that i have an out now...i have been brewing over how to repay Taco if the paypal claim doesnt go thru...no gaurentees there...i would like to think that $100 will be seen in my favor, and that would be going straight back to Taco to at least pay him some for his chivarous actions...but some people havent been so fortunate, and that is where i would like to fill the gap...i just dont know how yet...i am moved at this kind of generosity, and my faith in this institution we have here has totally been reinstated...i hope i get my chance to step up and contribute on an unselfish level such as Taco did...thanks again bud, many thanks...:o

I wouldnt personally give him any options. I would have just filed a claim and gotten the money back. He has to show proof of shipping in order to stop the claim. ok back to work everyon!

I would too. Then after you file the claim and get your money back IF you get the belt....tell him you will ship it Express mail back to him....

nice!! what is funny, is that he just keeps getting back with me, and it is just another lie everytime, and he keeps proving that he is lying everytime...i responded to this last pm by telling him he cant compare me waiting on an item from him, to him waiting on an item from Chuck...Chuck has TO MAKE the item, all erock had to do was ship my item...unless he had to make this TACO belt he sold me... just rediculous...

aw man - soz to hear this happened to you Fettdad - I can also apreciate the situation ur in, wanting the best of the best items, but having to work in a budget.

Hey, I am hopeing you get that belt form him. It is weird how everything played out...but here is the kicker...I was the one who bought the boots from him. Well, I got them in like a week maybe two but nothing more. I don't see how I got mine and you didin't. Maybe just luck, or maybe life is kicking him??? Again no clue. I was in a terrible money situation and the payments that i got were taken away by bill collectors, and i don't make enough at my job...well whatever that's just me whining about my ****** life.. Guys, the suckiest part about selling anything is shipping it. And sometimes there are unforseen problems with it.

If often costs more than you think it will, and it always takes longer than hope it will.

The thing is, you can argue till your blue in the face, and you can worry until your sick. But in the end, it is what it is. So, that being said.

a few words of advice, first for erock:

While you may have had good intentions, you should _always_ think things through before acting/selling. The money in your account is not yours, until it reaches the buyer.

Act accordingly and you will always have the money to re-inburse or ship. Dont convolute a story. Tell it as it is. I had to choose between my car payment and you and I picked car payment. Ill ship it as soon as I can.

Most importantly, communication guys. Id guess if you had said 'fettdad i dont have 8 bucks to ship it. Im sorry. You can wait 2 weeks or I can ship it COD he would have chosen cod. The items worth more.

Fettdad, to you I say, if your fetts not done, and ready to wear, right now, and an event, right now, take a breath. Stressing wont help. Youll get it or you wont. Wait the 25 days, and if it hasnt been shipped, file the complaint. Get your money back. I say this because I stressed over two items this year, thinking OK GET HERE ALREAY. And they are still in a box.

I know, its usually easier said than done, and your on a tight budget, and we have all been there, but ultimately, it is what it is.

So, that being said, taco is one hell of a stand up guy. *claps*.

well, i got the belt at lunch...finally came...i am glad that this is over, and that i have my belt...thanks to erock for making it right...but to anyone that is selling something, please be honest, and just let us know what is going on...if you as a seller has to make something, keep us updated, and if you are just selling something and dont have to make it, just ship it...if you dont have enough for the shipping, then say "$100 + shipping"...the empty promises and neverending lies is what makes buyers go crazy, lose their patience, and become irate...i am done, and i really hope this never happens again...

I was suppose to get mine in today too but nothing came today. Maybe tomorrow.

You got that right Stormrider - I have found it is the answer to about 90% of the issues I have run into. People are usually pretty understanding if they know what's going on and where you're coming from.

Chance are with most people its more careless and less callous with other peoples expectations.

Yeah, a lot of people don't think about that stuff. I have spent countless dollars on "popcorn", boxes, and special non-plastic wrapping materials that won't stick to paint or leave bubble marks on plastic surfaces.
