Donation Bar

You may have noticed that we have added a donation bar to the main index page of TDH. The bar is present to let you, our members know where TDH stands financially for the month. We have set a goal of $125 per month for TDH to cover the costs of hosting, software maintenance, domain name, and the cost of shipping items to cons as well as purchasing business cards and other promotional items. We hope in the future to create a system in which TDH is completely self sustaining and we do not need to ask for donations, but until that time comes, we are stuck with funding the site ourselves and with your generous donations.

Just so no one thinks otherwise, none of the admin staff is compensated in any form. We all offer our time on a strictly volunteer basis.

It didn't seem very long to meet the goal! That shows how much our members love the community.

This is a great idea. Does the extra donation get rolled over to the next month, or go into a fund? Would make sense to go to a fund, that can be used for flyers, stickers, etc for TDH tables at cons and such.

The goal resets at the first of every month. Any extra that we make above and beyond $125 will be used for promotional items.
