    Define "real deal"?

His reputation is stellar. I've never owned any of his work, but I've seen and held it, and it's top quality stuff.

Hmm yeah, not sure what "real deal" means. It is very good quality and I have heard nothing but good things about dealing with him.

I have ordered a helmet from him that is due to come in, in a few weeks. Do not worry about bobamaker. It is very much worth the 12-15 week wait.

Musashi - As Lordsurge has said. But Bobamaker or BM, sells his Jango helmets on his website. Work is required to make it a Jango helmet, or he can do the work for you at a price.

No... definitely NOT the real deal!

I got armor from boba maker, and the very FIRST blaster shot I took too the chest burned RIGHT THROUGH!!! My chest got seriously cooked and I have the scars to prove it. Not only that! Bobamaker's armor's lightsaber deflecting ability is almost non-existent! I almost lost a freakin' arm trying to deflect a blow with the shoulder bell! Saber just sliced right through! It is almost like this stuff is just plastic or something! I suppose if you were one of these "costumer" or "collector" types you would probably find the quality second to none... but if you are looking for "the real deal" I say look elsewhere!

...and if anyone takes that seriously... you will be smacked.

Just a little support for Bobamaker, he's made my lid, my armor, my flightsuit, my shin tools, two custom buckets, and two custom armor sets for me. His stuff is stellar. Absolutely top notch. His communications are excellent. Be prepared to wait to get the stuff, but quality takes time.

And dunno bout Art, but *my* armor has no problem with blaster bolts. Haven't been hurt by a Hasbro special yet!

    Charlie

Here, all BM armor, painted by me.
