BFuk / RS Propmasters Client Update.

Hi guys, OK, some of you may not know that a while back, due to the economy and family reasons I decided I had nothing to loose and the time was right to follow my heart and work at what I enjoy doing, building props. Late last year I had the fortune to meet a great guy and long story short, we decided to become partners. In the months that have followed we have worked, slowly at first, but recently very hard and getting RS Prop Masters off the ground.

We have now moved into a bigger studio and are equipping it with all the tools and machinery we have or need. From the 2nd of May we officially launched and attended our first convention.

This has had a short term negative effect, as I have not been able to get some orders out a quickly as I would like, the shin tools and recent pack orders have suffered, and I apologise again to all concerned. If you have not recently had contact from me, it is coming. I am now setting out a work schedule to collect up all outstanding orders and ship in the soonest possible time. Again, your patience in this matter is very much appreciated.

How will this affect things? Apart from the current backlog due to moving and other admin issues the changes will all be for the better. I will still be the main point of contact through TDH or email, but Simon can and will jump in where required. This should help speed up delivery times in the near future. RS Prop Masters will also offer more props, for example the up and coming "New Hope" Stormtrooper Helmet and armour. I will continue to work with Chris (FP) with supplying EU guys that are put off from buying outside the EU (and the extra costs involved).

Hey thanks guys. We have a few things to keep us busy, and have some work out of the prop world making up some prototypes for a client. Well, the money really is not great, but the work and hours are awesome!

Updates? Paid in Feb. for two jetpacks, starting to get nervous. At least let me know where we stand. I wanna make sure that there aren't a couple of kids in China running around shooting blaster bolts at each other while wearing MY jetpacks.

I'd like an update as well...I have PMed Rob a couple of times but haven't heard back from him for awhile now. Paid for a jetpack in March, was told end of April...and I've heard nothing but delays since. I understand the studio move and backlog of work...stuff happens...but the lack of communication I think is the big issue, and what makes people nervous.

Gotta agree with wagnon on the whole communication thing; in the same boat thought it might have been sent out by now based on previous pm's.

im in the same situation....so much so that i no longer even care if my stuff arrives,,this has left a very bad taste in my mouth as regarding costuming is concerned

u guys are getting a little excited when robs clearly busy with more than just jetpacks....its not a factory
these are handmade works of art

yes,i know that but when i ordred mine several months back he told me he had a jetpack built and ready to be painted and as it was not for anyone in particular he said i could have that one,now with the greatest of respect to him,if what he said was true it does not take several months to paint a jetpack,and if it was not true why did he say it

For those who've been waiting on
armor, it was me, not Rob who dropped that ball.

As stated in other threads, there are some really big projects in the works that I've had to split my time with, one of which is being announced officially just next week. What bit us in the arse, is that I gave Rob a very specific timeline on armor that was
completely shattered by these very un-expected delays. To all, I sincerely apologize. Once these things start coming to light it will likely be easier to swallow. It's been very difficult not being able to discuss these projects openly in order to allay concerns due to non disclosure agreements. But rest assured, that ball has been picked back up and properly bounced to Rob and company. Those to whom this concerns can rest assured that your orders are in route.

In future collaboration with Rob, we'll surely make damned sure this doesn't happen again.

Thanks so much for getting in touch, as I've said in my reply to your PM I appreciate you and Rob are very busy people, delays are bound to happen. I usually wouldn't dare cause a fuss, it's just in this case I have a lot riding on getting my fett finished in time, namely a vacation that's all paid for to go troop at a con. Sorry for nagging and thanks for the reassurance.

Rob mate, thanks to you also, I know you are swamped atm and I'm sure you will have still been working hard to get this sorted out behind the scenes. Thanks again for all your help in the past.

rob whats the deal with my jp.got an email from you over a month ago saying it would be finished by the end of that week and have heard nothing since.i have been waiting months now so here is the deal.dont send the jet pack to me as i no longer want it.i want my money back instead,thanks
