Allow myself to introduce....myself!

G'day fellow bounty hunters,

My name is Michael, and have been scouring the forums for a while now, and throught it best to introduce myself (and get my posts up :)). I live in Queensland, Australia, where there isn't a great deal of "local" suppliers to get gear from, so buying from abroad is the only way to go (plus it makes this hobby SUPER expensive, **** you Australia Post!!! :angry) And to see threads about who to, and not to buy from is very reassuring, especially as I am on the other side of the world.

I am currently working on a ROTJ Fett costume, and am enjoying all the interesting stuff there is to read on here. I have purchased a few things so far from fellow TDH members, to help get me over the line, and should have it all completed "hopefully" by November...

A little bit more about myself... I am a 501st member, of the Redback Garrison, 7829. And have a few costumes already under my belt. I am also about 1/2 way thru my RC R2-D2 build, but i'll save that stuff for astromech.net :)

Well that's about it. Hope to chat to you all on the forums.

BTW: I have a set of second hand Gaunts, but am considering getting a new set. Anyone suggest a good kit? Would prefer ones that hinge.

:cheers

Michael

Hi Michael,
love the austin powers refrence and welcome, if you are building any of your own stuff make sure to check out the WOF (wizard of flight) templates they have been very helpful to me.

Cheers

Yeah, I have dl alot of that stuff, thanks. It's slowly all coming together, just waiting on the final few pieces, then it will be time to slap it all together. :D
