New Hunter
allright, i'm new and never posted before. i've never even attempted to create my own costume before besides dressing up as luke for haloween and all that really took was me wearing black, having a black glove on my right hand and caring around a lightsaber from toy r us. i just don't know where to start when it comes down to all this. i don't have the room to actually make all the armor peices and such but i don't know where to buy premaid peices i could paint and run all the electronics for my self. any advice at all would help. where to look and what not.

PM FETTPRIDE for all your Fett armor needs. He makes the most accurate stuff out there. For PICS use the search function. And save up those pennys cause a Fett suit will be expensive.

Don't buy anything from a place called star fortess productions. There are a lot of great products that the members of this forum make. The first thing you need to figure out is what kind of boba you want to make. There is the return of the jedi version (ROTJ), Empire strikes back version (ESB) Special eddition version (SE) several pre-production versions (PRE-pro) and the Super trooper fett. Pictures of all of these versions can be found under the galleries folder on this website.

I am also looking at making a mandalorian bounty hunter costume, but a female one.

I recently made a custom mando for my son using a rubies helmet and it turned out to be much more work because the helmet was just so poor quality. By the time I re-enforced it, replaced the visor, cut out all the vents etc, Im sure i could have devoted my time into something better, as these days, time is what i lack.

Im a member of RL and 501st in Australia and this is my first attempt at a mandalorian, I think i should be ok for body armor, as I saw a thread that suggests using a mannequin torso for female armor, (which i thought was very clever) and am well underway in that department. But the helmet is what I want to concentrate on next.
