What paint to use on hyperfirm?

I have received my beautiful knee armour from slave1pilot, and wonder what paint is best for the hyperfirm material. Does regular rattlecan paint crack when you bend it? It would be nice to be able to kneel without paint falling off.

I am also considering buying an airbrush if that'll work better than rattlecans.

Any ideas of what is best for this material?

If you airbrush, mix in a little latex with the paint, but clean it out extremely well after use. However, rattlecans work, paint cracks, but shouldn't too much with the metal reinforcement he puts in there.

    Lisa,
sorry about not answerring your PM
It got lost in the shuffle
    I apologize

I've not tried putting latex in the paints
Those of you that have, LMK how it works
i painted these 2 pair with Floquil Airbrush colors
I don't know how they will last in the long run
please LMK if anyone has tried this already
i do know that they will crack, but won't peel
You'll want to use light coats

Those knees look amazing. Sweet paintjob. When I'm ready to upgrade my knees hopefully you'll still be making these.

No problem, mate! I guessed you were busy.

And, I'm in no hurry at all, my Bobamaker pieces don't arrive until march.

Thanks for advice! I'll try to find a decent airbrush then, it looks like something I should have.
