WHAT KIND OF BUCKLES ARE THESE???

No, I have no intention of building Marlon Wayans Gi JOE battle suit, no wait a minute I stand corrected, "ACCELERATOR SUIT"! Just in case anyone was going to blow me some you know what!

But I noticed these buckles on the side of his suit are identical to the one's used on Wesley Snipes Original "BLADE" vest. I'd like to go back and tweek this detail on my own Blade vest and wonder if someone could point me in the right direction on where to find this type of buckle. Any help would be awesome!

    THX

Hmm, the buckles look different to me in between the two movies.

They are called "cobra" buckles and are generally associated with AustriAlpin, an Austrian company. These have become very trendy for military applications although it seems they were originally intended for mountaineering. These were also seen recently on BSG duty belts.

THX for the help Art! Over on the RPF a member had referred to it as a "Stubai Buckle", must be another alternative name for it.

Art is Correct. They are COBRAs...funny how Cobra Buckles are on the GI Joes suit...

But yes...they were also the attaching buckle for the Viper Pilot/Raptor Pilots duty belt in BSG.

    Able to purchase...here:
