Tips for painting something up to look like chrome?!?

Hey TDH-ers! Let me pick your buckets for a minute:

I'm doing some stunt props for a fanfilm. I'm using PVC on the stunt sabers instead of sink tailpipe (which is what the heros are made out of) and I'm having trouble painting up the stunt sabers to look like thier hero counterparts. I know topcoats take away a love of silvers' luster, but ANY paints I've used just don't have the shine I'm wanting. I haven't used Rub-n-Buff, but I think even it is too matte for the shine look I'm going for. Any suggestions? Help me Obi-Dent Kenobis!

    WOW
I guess that pretty well answers that. I didn't prices anywhere on the page, though. How do you usually get it?

granted, you won't need nearly that much.
It looks like it's available on ebay in a spray can for about 40 bucks.
not sure if it works as well as the airbrush

Alcalad 2 laquer. AMAZING results, but you need an airbrush. IT's about 8 dollars for a bottle, but it lasts.
