Wow! That is awesome! Just curious, did you build a cut seam along the back of the head? I was just wondering the demold style you went with for a piece that size. Looks great!
Yes, seam up the back to mid forehead. It was a one piece sock mold that I sliced with a razor knife. The mold is thick so when it goes back into the mother mold it fits tight and the seam line disappears.

Beautiful man! Thanks for the info! The first pull looks very clean and amazing. Can't expect anything less than perfect coming from you!

I'm working on a bust that I will be molding and I plan to put a seam up the back, similar to what you have done. I have never done this with a large mold before though, and I wonder about the possibility of it tearing all the way around when I try to de-mold. Is this a potential problem with your mold? Does it naturally resist that kind of tearing, or is there a fail safe to prevent it?

First, make the mold thick in the seam area. Judge on how far to cut, the less resistance, less chance to rip. You can also make a T cut at the stop. Also you can inbed spandex at the stop to help hold it together. I use mold max 30 silicone for my molds. Good Luck!

Any serious takers can PM me so I can put you on my list. I'm finishing the horn molds today and will be going into production for a run. Thanks everyone for the great feedback. The price for the raw kit will be $350 plus shipping. You get the head and horns. I may do a neck with mount at a later time for additional charge. And I'll probably offer a finished out version as well, price TBD.

Molds complete, first parts pulled! The parts come out near perfect, with little to no clean up. Only minor seam line sanding required on the horns. Head is fiberglass with shell-shock as the print coat, horns are smooth cast-roto. I'll be doing a run so any takers please PM me. Kit is head and horns only for now. Price $350 plus shipping. I may offer the neck and mounting system later as well as completely finished out piece. Thanks for all the comments!

That is an amazing piece of work. I'm interested to see it after you put fur on it.

Hope you manage to sell a few to finance the mold-making process.
