Curious if anyone has any experience casting with products from Casting Resins & RTV Silicone Rubber for Resin Casting ? They seemed substantially cheaper than the smooth-on products, but sometimes you get what you pay for? I'm new to this, so I don't want to get burned.

The link for TicGums doesn't work anymore. The link to the store was dead, but the link to the product page is here: Hydrocolloids, Gums, & Stabilizers for food texture or maybe just a link to the main page at TIC Gums - Texture and stabilization solutions for the food industry What on earth is this used for anyway?

So for a resin/hardener I'm looking at the EpoxAmite 100 Laminate and since there are three types of hardener (slow, medium, fast) I am wondering: Will they shrink pepakura? Will one reduce shrinkage more than another?

    Cheers
