solo plastic cups and spray paining

I used the top of a solo plastic cup on one of my fett pieces.
Heres the problem: I primed it (fine), put a coat of aluminum down (fine), then put the final coat on (white). When I put the white on - the original color of the cup started showing through (red) and it doesnt look like the paint will dry!!!!
What gives????
The first two coats went on fine!! And I let them cure!

i have bad spray paint karma lately!

Sounds like you had a paint reaction of some kind, Did you mix paint brands, like using brand foor the primer, and brand b or c for the other colors?? This can happen when different paint brands are used togehter. Some don't like each other and bad things happen.
