Sci-Fire Master Chief helmet

Just wanted to share a project I was able to finish. Thanks goes out to the Sci-Fire guys for such an awesome helmet. I used Dupli-Color's Deep Jewel Green and Universal Black on it. The subtle weathering was created by spraying black into the nooks and crannies that was then immediately wiped off. After that I went over the whole helmet with fine steel wool. I then followed up with Rustoleum dark grey primer in the nooks and crannies. Lastly, I finished it off by rubbing the whole helmet with fine steel wool to bring the shine back out of the metallic green.

I still need to make the second visor. The green bulbs are from Radio Shack, and eventually I'd like to make them functioning. I'd also like to pad the interior once the electronics are done.

MAULFETT, the visor is just a gold reflective motorcycle visor I got off ebay. I need to acquire a second one to make the 2-piece visor look that's somewhat replicates the original.
