sarlacc tentacle- any advice?

I am building a post sarlacc pit FETT... I want to have a sarlacc tentacle with the large side starting at my right shoulder- going down thru the jetpack and wrapping around my left leg....Like I just crawled out.. Any suggestions on how to contruct this? I need it to be light and have some flex to it.

All suggestions will be greatly appreciated!

foam latex comes to mind....but not sure how'd you actually construct it.

a soft foam filled latex mold sounds right. It would be a good project. Frightprops.com has a tenticle that you might be able to modify its 5 feet. At leastit be a good reference
