Do you think the the rubies tie helmet is too soft to paint? I want to convert it to an atat, but I am afraid that the paint will come off!
It's definitely paintable, the key is to clean the surface and/or sand it first, or you can try using Krylon Fusion paint for plastic, I have heard that if you are patient the Krylon works well. Several Tie Pilots I know have painted their Rubies to make it look more realistic.
