Does anyone know what paint can be used on rubber?
I've got a clonetrooper belt that is cast in urethene rubber and need to know the best kind of paint to use.
Any ideas?
Thanks

The 501st's Clonetrooper Detachment <-that's the best place to find out.
Krylon fusion has worked well for me. The trick is to give it only a light coat; a thick coat will crack.
I believe I read that Krylon Fusion was not good for foam belts... have to confirm but I clearly recall reading that somewhere on the clone forum.
If I remember correctly any Krylon non-Fusion was ok to paint the foam belts.
I just thought that maybe urethane rubber belts are not the same as foam belts.... that would explain why clonesix says Fusion is ok for these belt... as a matter of fact, you might be better of listening to clonesix![]()
If you airbrush it, mix in some latex. This will let the paint bend and it won't crack.
can mix the paint with latex if its acryllic. itll flex.
