I hope you don't mind me asking, but how did you make the wooden molds? They look fantastic and some information on the process would be great - they look machined as the finish is so smooth?

Hi, thanks for complements. The helmets was home sculpted, as you can see in the first pic.
I use MDF 30.0mm thickness, glue to have the right work area for sculpting. Right now, I'm working on the first copy of the armor. Helmet made of fiber glass, to body will sue ABS plastic (more cheap than FG)
    New pics soon!!

Ah, yes I can see the layers of MDF now I look closely - How long did it take to sculpt those? I can imagine mayself spending a month alone on the bicep, then taking out too much in a pass and having to bondo it back up! :P

Thanks for contributing to our site!

While our members have a wide range of interests, this site is focused on Star Wars costuming and specifically on Star Wars bounty hunters like Boba Fett. In an effort to maintain this focus we are closing this thread... but all is not lost!

We have an affiliate site, run by the same people who run TDH where you content would be more than welcome! This site is the the Replica Prop Forum, a site dedicated to all props, costumes, and models. Please consider registering and posting your non-Star Wars content there!

Does this mean we don't want you here at TDH? Not at all! We would love for you to continue to participate here but would ask that you move any non-Star Wars content to the RPF!
