Need help with LEDs

I need purple leds first of all, but I have no Idea how to make them work, I would really prefer to have little or no wires if possible, they woul attach to my gauntlets(made of aluminum). Is there anyone who knows if that out there...

what do you want them to do?
just light up?

What do you need them to do? Just light up and blink? Or just light up and stay that way. It's quite simple once you learn the basics.
