I've been repairing my broken wireless microphones by putting them into Hasbro sabers. I host karaoke shows, so it's nice to be able to say "I have to carry this for work," when someone asks me why I have a lightsaber hanging from my belt.

I've got a Vader and an Obi-wan. I really wanna build Luke's from ROTJ, but that one is never correctly represented as a toy. The tip where the blade comes out is really thin, so they'd never be able to fit a toy blade in there. I'll have to build it pretty much from scratch. I've considered building a custom one, but I think that the majority of my karaoke audience would think that's too nerdy. I've got bills to pay, so I can't be alienating myself too much!
