My ESB Suit So Far.....

HeadlessHunter

Well-Known Hunter
I just finished fitting a head to my previously headless (ha ha) mannequin and thought what better time to literally throw all of my ESB Boba Fett suit on it and see what it looks like, here are the results, what you don't see is my Girth belt which I couldn't find and my Mojo/Volkerc sidearm (on its way I think Gav? ;)) and my MOW gauntlets, they are being painted and also the mannequion has no arms so its a little tough to display gauntlets on it (y) Visor is photoshopped in for now

Looking good Joe..... ;)
Don't worry Sidearm coming, along with some darts for those gauntlets (you can't display yet)

Soooo bascially I got my chest armour fitted to my vest, the vest is made by Fettpride and I bought it from another member here in the junkyard, it already had the steel eyelets in it to use the Bobamaker method of attaching with bolts, what I had to do was tape the armour in the positions I wanted and then carefully draw through with a graphite pencil to mark where the bolt 'should' go, it wasn't an exact science and took a few goes but now its all done, I used a spot of superglue to line the bolts up and then once I was happy I used isopon/bondo to fill around the head of the bolts to make them more permanent, my first ever attempt at fitting armour and I am really happy although the vest is a touch too big for me so I will be adjusting that in the next few days and will hopefully have a shot of me wearing it, thanks for looking (y)

Spent the afternoon trimming the backplate, need to figure out the correct method for fixing it to the collar piece, the other main parts of the armour have now been sprayed in Humbrol number 11 Silver, I hope to start painting them this weekend

Can the mods please move this thread to the Boba Fett Costume section please?

Worth updating showing the silver painted armour pieces and my now old helmet, this one is on its way to Rob (bobbyfettuk) visor is photo-shopped in for reference
