Molding plastic.(PVC)

Hey,guys!
Right now I have an interest in molding PVC plastic. I won't be able to start any time soon,(you know, football, school, etc.)

I'm more interested in making helmets than armor,as I know were to buy mando armor, and some clone armor. I found out the melting point for it,and I have some more info, but
I would like to get as much info possible.

If anyone has an opinion that they would like to share, please do.:)

Thanks,vode.

PVC smells really, really bad when you heat it.

I highly recommend NOT doing that.

ABS stinks a bit. HIPS does not smell too bad.

I suggest reading a LOT of threads and watching a LOT of videos. Molding helmets is a lot of work and a lot of money. Be aware of what you are getting into.

Thanks,I think this is a great place to read up on this sort of thing. I'm also reading up on the mandomercs site, and CT.net.

I'll unquestionably keep up my research.
