    Lifesize AT-ST Scout Walker

Here are some progress pics of another project that is underway for Invasion Belfast in October. The builders are some of the members of our club in Belfast.

    Cockpit Head Section
Chin guns not complete yet and side guns still to be attached as you can see.

Building the Ankle Section & attaching to top foot section:

This project should be completed by the end of July. Will post more progress soon.

What kind of shop are you running out of that you have the space to keep doing these massive star wars projects? Do you own it all privately?

The reason they arent showing up is because they are CMYK. I saved them down from a different browser and opened them in photohsop. You need to convert them to RGB and re-post them so everyone can see.

Thats why they preview as negatives.

That is cool. We have a life-size X-Wing here in Denver at the Wings Over the Rockies Air and Space Museum. We were debating an Tie Fighter, but this might be a better idea logistically.

Any of you guys planning to build a victory class stardestroyer anytime soon, if so i would gladly come and help, .

    Anyway, very cool

Here in Holland and over at our belgian neighbours we've had some vehicles in the past, a lifesized x-wing, snow speeder, speeder-bike, millennium falcon cockpit, a walking at-at with people manning the legs literarly, well what's next......

A full-scaled destroyer would be so awesome, not to mention an executor .

It so much fun to see what people can make nowadays

I think if somebody were going to make a lifesize destroyer...they'd have to make it outta paper, and it would prob cost millions.
An executor is getting a bit ambitious...as it's 6 freaking KILOMETERS long!
It would take years to make even one destroyer, unless you have a few construction teams handy...

Thats is brilliant!! I'd love to be involved on a job like that!!! I considered building my little boy a snowspeeder out of cardboard sheeting! This completely puts my (small-scale) thinking to shame!! Cant wait to see the finished deal!!

Funny enough guys i planeed a lifesize Vader Tie-Fighter for this year but had to postpone it due to other projects, i did get as far as building one of the wings as a starting point and i now have it in storage.

I will pick up where i left off later this year and maybe have it ready for Invasion III hopefully.

Im also starting to build a lifesize Turret Cannon from Hoth at moment

All my props are made over 3 different factory spaces, depending on what material i am building with at that time.

We build the timber parts in a separate area away form the steel work & PVC parts.

Yes it does stand by itself, the prop support are set into position when being stored to keep pressure off the steel work.

Supports will be removed when on display

nah you don't too big really. That's just a large piece to take up space .Moving, storing and dealing with it is too big a headache to have it. If it was all metal it would be cool outside to weather slowly, but wood involved it's always an inside thing and waste of space for a few SW conventions to toy shows.
