leg armor

so i decided to go for the complete mandalorian heavy armor look, and wanted to know how some of you out there got your thighs, knees, and shins to stay to your legs? i have about 4 yards of elastic strap which i was going to use, but i dont know how to stick it to the armor without it breaking off when i put the actual armor on, any ideas?

If you have drop leg holsters you can attach your thighs to the holsters. The knees will hold themselves with the strap around the back. I use snaps. Just glue one half of the snap to the back of the armor, and attach the other to the strap.

i could try that, i dont have drop down holsters, so i might try the same thing with the thighs too
