Looking fantastic Brian!
Here's some pics of the first cast out of the mold, Now I can start the resculpt and sanding part
FUN STUFF
I got the mask sanded smooth and played with the drawings to get an idea of what it will look like, I also had time time to start the mouth piece that will hold some hardwhare and tubing and will be cast seperate .
More Later .

Amazing work bro!
Absolutely top knotch.
Sweet Mask I always liked the Guermo Del Toro version of Kroenen's many masks. So Much cooler than Mignola drew it. More updates?
These look great. I am going to start the Kroenen costume and want to make this mask, because it looks better then the regular goggle-eyed one.
My friend has a vacuform machine he built we will use but I am confused on how to make the mold to form it on.
Did you make your mold completely out of a block of clay and shape it, and then plaster, ect over it for the final mold to lay the plastic over?
Ive been searching online with not much luck on a step by step process of the actual mold making.
thanks!
erm.... you friend actually had a vac former - why not ask him how he makes molds to use on it?
try the vac forming forums - just google em. been a while since I was on one.
most people use oil-based clay to sculpt with then make vac forming bucks of it. materials varying. you need some hard heat resistant stuff. a mate of mine recently did some small bucks with bondo - which didnt hold up well to the heat.
or - why not pick up Jarvis one, his work is TOP NOTCH! and prices are very reasonable
dude that is just about too awesome for words to describe.
Beautiful lines. clean sculpt
