Just some praise

After looking around the forums here about the subject, I just wanted to say how impressive you all are that do the pepakura techique. I couldn't imagine having the patience to draw out, print, cut, fold, glue, fiberglass, fill, sand, and finish those things. I have yet to see one that isn't amazing!

Just wanted to share that.

I agree! Most of the work I see done here using pep is just fantastic! I'm going to give it a try for my custom Mando using Skips file, but I doubt I'll be able to match the stuff everyone else has done.

The trick to pep is patience. At the 405th, all of the members that do the best work are the ones with patience, and the same goes here. I agree though, I think pep is a difficult yet rewarding technique. It's in the middle of kits and scratchbuilding, kits are far too easy, and the only challenge is painting them. Scratchbuilding is very difficult, and everything's a challenge, but the end result is VERY rewarding. Pep sills that area for people (like me) that can't do large amounts of scratchbuilding, but still want that reward of Did it yourself. The ulitmate challenge is making your own pep file and building that. THAT, is the ulitmate pepakura reward.
