Joker Hexagon Fabric Print Interest

Woh!! What happened to all of GhostSoldier's pics?!?! I don't have an update as of yet. I'm waiting to return the fabric printer's call until I get home Friday evening. I'll update this weekend! Stay tuned!!!

Count me in! I am very interested in getting some of this fabric. I would want enough for two shirts (6 yds?) when will you be getting a quote? Thanks!

I would like to be counted in on this as well. Add me to the list! I am a member over at brotherhood of the bat and league of heroes and have been trying to get this fabric or shirt for over a month! I will check back for updates.

I'm not going to act like an expert on the subject, but I saw these pictures about 3 weeks ago and I'm pretty sure the China display is a press outfit. It has to be. To start, the fabrics look different... like things that would never be comfortable to wear. Second, the buttons on the vest are indeed different. Now, heres the kicker... did any of you see the pictures where people were standing next to the outfit?

It's tiny! I mean, it looked almost normal compared to the small people in the picture, but Heath's stature is WELL above them, he was no small fry. I also felt the shoes in the China display were more "boot-esque" than oxford wingtip hushpuppy-esque.

Wes...I thought the same thing when I first saw those series of pics...that vest material looks like neon cotton denim or something....but, even if it is a "press" suit, it's still identifiable to the mass public as the TDK Joker costume...the shirt pattern looks correct, and the blue/gray blazer underneath is easy to see if it is original (considering that no one has a clear image of it from the actual movie, and most folks are guessing as to what it really looked like, aside from using poster images)...I think they work pretty well as reference images, or until we get better ones....:)

Guys, we really need to figure out our "favorite" pattern. I've seen some really great ones surface in the last couple days. I really like ramiel's on the rpf, but the six pointed star hex is missing. Jarvis's is great, but there are some random lines missing, jagged edges, and rogue pixels. Very nice pattern, but not a prime candidate I think. Lemme know if you guys got some more out there as I will need them asap!

Kody...here's all the one's I have snagged so far...some good, some not so good....

I like the No. 6 one myself....

Number six is also my favorite...the only thing is if you zoom in you can see that there are jagged lines and stray pixels like I said....idk....i'll get one that I have up on here...very precise but it is missing some hexagons

Any word from Hazy on the vector graphic?

I also like #6, but I like #5's color. :p

I think I'm just going to grab a purple button down shirt, purple pants (pin stripes if I can find some) a tie, and mabey a white/tan vest from one of the local-ish thrift stores. And I'll just dye the vest purple. It should make the outfit alot cooler to wear, and deffintly ALOT easier to put together being just the vest and the shirt. I don't think you can confuse the Joker with anyone else anyway.

I wish I had enough sence (and patience) to do a stencil for a shirt. I don't know were to begin on making a stenil to do so.:wacko I have however been practicing my creepy. -

I'm also working on the voice, currently its a little bit to deep, and Richard Nixon-ish. :wacko

Me, too...but I think that could be achieved by using a base-colored, light blue fabric, and print the pattern in dark blue on that...

Precisely!:D

I thought about that at first also, but gave up on it, as a stencil has to be a negative of the desired image....can you imagine the nightmare on cutting all those little circles and squares out?

Same here...I'm getting better, as my son's think I sound like him a little...I'm a twangy Southern American mimicking a Western Australian mimicking a Chicago/Gotham criminal....go figure!
Rob

EXACTLY! I think I'd be driven mad just trying to figure out how to cut the stencil out, LOL. Not to mention dabbing the fabric markers properly, in the correct ammount with no bleed through's,etc. That'd make me go crazy.

#6 is the most accurate. The color of #5 is definitely off. Take a look at sithcamaro's shirt. Printed it onto white cotton and came out great. You WILL see people try to convince you the shirt is purple, but it IS in fact a deep navy blue on a very expensive fabric. if you would like, hit up Toby Markham (sithcamaro) for the color code of the color he used and the fabric he used... his looks great.

No word from Hazy i don't think... if you want, Rob, go ahead and PM him on the Hype.

I heard a rumor that there is a Dark Knight Sticker Book that has the exact joker shirt pattern in it... anyone see this yet?

read through the thread, I already posted the only available photo of the pattern from the sticker book. It isn't a scan exactly, its a photo usable for reference...
