Sweet!!! That is fast fast shipping!!! Well, all have shipped except for the international guys. I pm'd a couple of you on shipping quotes, and I'll have the rest out by today or tomorrow!!! I'm so glad this is a success!!! It took me HOURS to cut it all and address the envelopes...my paypal was locked up because of the few that backed out by filing claims....soooooo I couldn't print shipping labels...HOPE EVERYONE LOVES IT!!! Indy Magnoli and I did collaborate to make a Joker shirt. It wasn't made with the vector that sereiana did. This was a version that I made specifically for Indy Magnoli, using the correct layout that sereiana cracked.

In any case, glad to see this has all resolved (mostly) for the better, and I hope those who were a bit impatient with Kwally send a bit of grattitude his way for all he has done, even though yes, things could have been handled a bit better.

Also, to anyone wondering about buttons, here's a pic. I found, and the only one I know of, that is even a little bit clear of the shirt's buttons. They look to be four hole blue buttons, alot like the Tripp HT Shirt's buttons. :

I received my fabric today. My soul can rest a bit more now. The print quality is stunning. My first reaction was dense one (I was sleeping and my sister had opened the package and laid it on me like a blanket.

I do want to ask though, did any one else's fabric come and did you notice the pattern was stretched? My Hexagons are all warped a bit, and not equally. Some then are 1" by 2". Just wondering, not a huge deal. If there are more roles with accurate hex's I will gladly pay shipping for them, Kody, I'll PM you after black friday is OVER!

Fabric came in yesterday. I think I screamed when I saw Kody's name on the package and realized what it was. Luckily no one was home =D

Upon opening the package and looking over the fabric, I also noticed the stretching that WGoble mentioned. The hexes aren't even and seem to be skewed in one direction. I'll have to completely unfold it and see if it's consistent through the whole sheet. I'll post pics also.

Weird, Well I know that there wasnt anythign crooked about the vector itself. Though tessalted hexes have a slight bit of optical illusion going on where depending on the angle they may look longer one way - but if you turn your head you realize its the same all around. Not saying thats what the issues was; just saying that its not unlikely that, that is not helping.

I'm also wondering I'd anyone has bought the black braces with green triangles? Everytime I watch the movie or see pics, I can't help but think the braces are black but appear gray because of the strong lights reflecting off them. Are the ones available on the web made from a "reflective" thread? I might get them just to test it!

Well, I got a pair of the black with green diamond braces from Albert Thurston and they are just awesome. I thought the same as you and I'm quite certain now that these are the same braces that are worn in the movie. I add a few pictures with different lighting (cellphonecam again, sorry)

Hey Guys ive been following this board for a very long time and finally decided to join in. I was wondering how much fabric i should purchase if Kwally still has any more. Im about 6' tall 150 pounds and in dress shirts i wear a medium or large or a 16 34/35. Thanks

For reference, I paid $75 (with a $15 tip on top of that) to have the dress shirt sewn. Being that I wore it to my company Christmas party, I needed it turned around in a little over a week after getting the fabric. The seamstress works professionally for a major suit store during the day and runs her own business while not there. With that being said, you may be able to find something cheaper by going to your local fabric store and asking for references.

This is before I put buttons on it but I thought some of you would like to see how this looks as a shirt.
Due to some issues the shirt isnt 100 percent accurate. This is mainly due to the fact that even though I matched up every hex I could on one side, they didnt match perfectly on the other side (yes... I sat there and matched my hex placement to that of the original shirt. I was concerned with white balance, okay...)

Wow, sereiana....that's beautiful! I doubt anyone will notice the "alignment" issue!
I'm glad to see some shirts being produced from this great fabric; I have, as of yet, to find a tailor skilled enough to do it justice....

I'll try to take some tonight with everything. My vest is completely done and everything else is almost perfect. I have to do some alterations on the overcoat and throw it and the pants in a blue dye bath. This was my first time tackling a collared shirt so I wasn't sure how to alter the neckband to my size. Besides that, im happy with it!

Kwally...thanks for the kudos; although I have everything I need to finish the costume, I haven't had the time to get it all together, trying to deal with family, jobs, bills, etc. I'm going to use this costume for years to come, so I'm not in any particular hurry...it's a timeless, recognizable treasure, as we all know!

I don't have a T&A tie...it was way too expensive for my taste, so I did 2 things: I made one using a T&A tie pattern scan and iron-on paper (it doesn't look too bad, after all), and I also bought one of these Stafford ties, when they were available...

Just got some pics of my costume thus far. The blazer is lighter than the picture makes it seem, but the alterations and lining was custom sewn by ME! The colors seen of the pants and braces also are VERY different from natural lighting. Just gotta finish dying the wool melton I bought and sew up the overcoat!!

WOH! I just got off the phone with turnbull and asser, and I got the LAST Joker tie they had at the New York location!! Pretty crazy!

Yep! It is pretty awesome and puts that authentic touch to my nearly finished costume...I can never say a costume is done...because I'm such a perfectionist!!
