I am relatively new to propmaking so I had a question. When you say that you have a Fett helmet and you had to sand and fill it what do you mean by fill? What are you using to fill it?

Bondo. Or some other type of filler product. They make a spot and glaze putty that works well for small places.
Oh got ya. See when I think of Bondo I think of it as like a glue, or something, and not a filler. And I suppose that it wouldn't matter if the putty was white or something because you would be sanding it and painting it right?
Spot putty is awesome stuff, its $2.00 at wal-mart.
You can also mix superglue and baby powder together. Just drop some glue out on a scrap piece of plastic (NOT paper) and slowly add the baby powder untill you get a putty consistancy and add where needed. It drys pretty fast so work quickly......:)

Cool thanks guys, and can I pick up Bondo or Spot putty in the paints section at Walmart?
Automotive............ish
Its around the fix it yourself in automotive.
The fiberglass stuff is there also.
Awesome, thanks psberetta!
Oh one more thing. I am going to be working with sintra to make my own jet pack. What kind of glue should I use to put the pieces together, or what would you suggest that I do?
No prob. :)
I used superglue to kind of tack it in place.....Then use E-6000 on the inside of the joint, if you can.You can use this stuff other than how it says. It works without putting it on both sides and waiting 10 min.
If you can't get to the inside, superglue the whole joint.
Sintra is full of VERY small pockets and after you glue it, its over.
If its in the wrong spot, you will have to cut it off or break it off :lol

Thanks, I am going to see if I can find any of the stuff at my local hardware store. Man it is nice to have a great resource like TDH. :cheers
