Help with .pdo format and autodesk maya
Hey guys! I am going to be working on some 3d models for a friend of mine to do pepakura. He needs the models exported as .pdo files and obviously maya doesn't have that file format... where can i get a plug in that will allow me to export as .pdo so he can view it in that pep program? Thanks in advance!

Re: Help with .pdo format and autodesk maya
from what I understand, pep accepts obj and dxf dinosaur formats. Maya can export to those.
Re: Help with .pdo format and autodesk maya
I gave him an obj and he said it was a no go. I figured an obj would work since thats pretty universal. I can try it again. Otherwise I'd still like to find a plug in for .pdo :D

Re: Help with .pdo format and autodesk maya
Pepakura Designer should support the .obj format for unfolding to then be saved as a .pdo. Perhaps your friend is trying to open the file with Pepakura Viewer?

You could be correct. I should ask him that. Thanks guys! :)
