Half Mannequin/Torso Ideas???

Hello,

Unfortunately, I lack the room for a full mannequin display in my current home. However, I would like to come up with something to display my flak vest, armor, and helmet. I am thinking about hitting up Wal-Mart or Bed,Bath, and Beyond and trying out a chrome standing toilet paper holder. I would think it would be strudy enough to hold the weight of the vest, and I would put some foam on the top to rest the helmet safely.

Any other suggestions? I've seen some decent mannequin torsos on eBay, but I'd kinda like to keep this on the cheap. I don't mind if the vest just hangs there, so it just has to be sturdy enough to support the weight of the helmet, vest, and sintra armor. Any advice would be much appreciated.

That's awesome. Thanks for the fast reply. I ended up picking up a torso that will work on eBay for about $30 shipped, but I may use this for a future project.

I just pay a guy to stand in the corner wearing it while I am not using it....he sure complains alot tho. Maybe its because I don't let him go to the restroom....those gauntlet hoses sure came in handy!

are you allowed to beat your man-nequin? if so where can i get one? lol
