Gi Joe 2 cobra Commander New Helmet

I have the New Snake eyes helmet completed but now this is my oher proyect, Take time but it is for the good....well here is the first mold and first pull out, it will be 3 pieces, jaw, top and visor, the visor it will be use for the vacumm form method, i will try to use clear sintra o petg, then under it chrome tint mirror, i'm crossing my finger, let see how it works if not i will be loss, all the pieces need more sanding, primer, sanding, primer and so on, the real helmet use magnet but with my helmet i will use center button quick release....this is a hard project so i 'm doing testing studing and research. i hope you like it so far.

i almost there here are few mores photos with the fiberglass visor paint it, until i made the clear visor with vacumm form method and try to figure out how to chrome. Any suggestion about that you welcome

Man, that looks amazing. If you do figure out chroming but still making it see through, I will absolutely buy one from you.

For a chrome visor, you could get some chrome window tint, 1-way mirror tint, or a chromed motorcycle visor (I know Icon has some, but maybe not the right shape) and heat/bend it to fit...

thank for all the good coments and sugestion, i did some adujstmet to the visor and more sanding tomorrow ready to paint.

Is already paint, but visor need more works more wider on top to the middle, but like i said before this not the final visor.

I'm sure there are other solutions out there, but this doesn't seem to expensive and would be very easy & effective.

Yes but i'm doing some test using vacum form method. Once i got that ready i let you know hopefully 2 or 3 more weeks

When you get the mirrored visor figured out, please let us know. I made Cobra Vipers last summer, and just used the face shield from Harbor Freight with mirrored privacy tint from Home Depot. Not a dome, just a smooth curve and the helmet is almost like a Fett with bigger T-shape, so it held it curved like that. A friend wants to replace his hooded Cobra Commander with a helmet, and I said I'd build it, but that one (the cartoon version) definitely needs to be domed. I'm wondering if a little heat and vacuum could stretch the mirror tint over a vac-formed clear visor.

DUDE I NEED ONE OF THESE HELMETS, IM A MOTORCYCLE RIDER AND SINCE MY STATE DOES NOT REQUIRE ME TO WEAR A HELMET I WOULD LOVE TO WEAR THIS ON MY BIKE , I NEED ONE!!
