Good Afternoon All.
I recently bought a Sabine Wren Helmet for my build. I have the soft parts done, and want to start on the armor as my pulled helmet just arrived. The thing is that I've never ever done this before and don't really know where to start. The 2 things I know I need to do first is cut the rest of the visor area off (was left for shipping stability) and fill in little niches that were cut in the side of the visor area (possibly that they did to start the visor cut). I figure I can fill int he niches with resin/fiberglass.
I was told to wash the helmet to get the extra resin off of it and then to start painting. Is there anything else that needs to be done? Sanding or base coating?
Any help or pointing in a general direction would help immensely. Thank you all.
