ESB helmet advice

Just wondering if there is a step by step to painting and weathering on this site?
I have ordered an ESB bobamaker helmet and was wondering about what paints to use....
if i should invest in an airbrush kit, or can i get good results with rattle cans?
since i have purchased a decent helmet i want to do a decent paint job on it. i've got a few months till it arrives and just want to be well prepared as i have no experience at any of this!

well then you have a few months of time to research and gather supplies...start searching the forum by clicking on the search function, reading up on WIP (works in progress) threads and other how to stuff people have posted. You will get better results from an airbrush in the you can mix colors very easily...spray cans in other countries can be tough as there arent an abundance of choices and not alot of research done for you.

Well, you are lucky because there is an ESB paint WIP by Jayvee (also from Australia) and he has a good list of paints he used and his work is near perfection. Here is the thread ==> Jayvee's ESB Helmet Paint.
