Look at that first photo. I think I'd have "The Force is with you young Skywalker, but you're not a Jedi yet..." booming through the room 24/7!

This is awesome! I might have to build something similar for my Han in Carbonite to stand on. What kind of lights are inside the piece and what material did you use that the light shines through? Is it a colored plexiglass or plastic piece? It looks great.

Thanks for the compliments! The lights can be found at Lowes. They are the small work lamps with the clamp on the end so you can attach it under the display. I also used amber colored bulbs. The light shines through plexiglass that has been painted on the back side.

Wow, that is certainly one of the best display bases I have ever seen!? I am in the process of building a Han in Carbonite for an upcoming event and this is truly inspiring.
I was going to go for the Jabba's palace wall scenario but now I'm reconsidering. Hmmm

One of the R2 Builders, Chris Simonds, built a dozen or so sections of floor that match this. They were in the center of the room display at CV. His were all square though. I like the corner pieces. A few of us were discussing building wedges that, when put together would create a sort of stage to display the droids on at a convention or something. I think it died though as no one wants to have to carry an additional bulky item around to conventions!
I still want to do this for my den though.
That looks great, nice job!

Thanks for the compliments!

Yes, you can put vent holes in the back.

Yes, I saw the pics of the floor sections that Chris made for his display and they were awesome!

Thanks again!
